One-Inch Slate Bed & Solid Hardwood Top Rail

A one-inch, three-piece slate bed is joined and fitted during installation. This rock slate has been precision-machined using diamond honing machinery for a level that is accurate to within ten-thousands of an inch. Within the frame, the joined slate sits into a metal support frame equipped with slate levellers, assuring longevity and accuracy with the ability to fine-tune the slate level. Around the playfield, Presidential's own BCA-approved K-66 profile cushions are fitted to the rails with a layer of cotton canvas, which boosts shot accuracy and control.

The 6.75in-wide upper rails are made from solid hardwood and fitted to the slate with Presidential's own T-nut system, which allows the fitter to use a greater torque during installation and therefore ensure the correct rigidity. The wide rail gives a comfortable platform for your bridge hand, helping further with shot accuracy. The rails are inlaid with flush-fit, diamond-shaped black metal sights, allowing you to calculate shot angles with ease and score in the regulation-sized drop pockets.
